Parish Development Model Financial Inclusion System (FIS)

As an IT consultant at Deron Ltd, I played a pivotal role in the successful execution of the Parish Development Model Information System (PDMIS) project, commissioned by the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance. This encompassed the supply, deployment, and maintenance of the system, incorporating modules for household registration and financial inclusion systems.

Key Achievements:

Identified by Deron Limited, along with Kapeere Joel, to fulfill consultancy roles, bringing the requisite expertise and capabilities for the contract with the government of Uganda.
Responsibilities:

Managed the end-to-end system requirements gathering process, conducting stakeholder consultations and drafting comprehensive software requirements specifications (SRS).
Designed and developed the system in alignment with the specified software requirements.
Conducted rigorous testing and debugging throughout the development process to ensure system integrity.
Supported the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process by drafting UAT documents and leading testing and defects remediation.
Orchestrated the deployment of the system on authorized servers shared by the client.
Provided training, capacity building, and knowledge services by drafting user manuals and conducting training sessions, followed by evaluations.
Offered ongoing technical and user support, ensuring the continued success and functionality of the implemented system.
